Maps from a variety of years quickly reveal the spatial and physical evolution of the UCI campus. Maps also can be used to track building name changes over time.
UCI's unique circular layout was only 75% complete when the campus opened in October 1965. The existing buildings and the partial circle are illustrated in the first official campus map from 1965. As of 2017, more than 200 buildings populate the central rings and extend throughout the entirety of UCI's 1,500 acres.
