Locating UCI Theses and Dissertations

Students have the option of submitting their dissertation or thesis in electronic form or in paper form.

A circulating copy of each paper thesis or dissertation is cataloged in ANTPAC and shelved in Langson Library or the Science Library. A second, non-circulating copy is also stored at the Southern Regional Library Facility (SRLF).

Electronic submissions are cataloged in ANTPAC and full text is available through a link in the ANTPAC record. Titles submitted electronically do not have a paper copy in the Libraries’ collections.

To locate a particular dissertation or thesis, search ANTPAC by author or title.  To browse all titles by discipline, consult the thesis and dissertation call number table. You can either browse in ANTPAC with a "Local Call Number" search or browse the volumes on the shelves in the Langson or Science Libraries.

Ph.D. dissertations produced since 1997 by students on all UC campuses may be available in full text online from Proquest's Dissertations & Theses. They can be accessed at no charge from any computer in the UCI Libraries or remotely by current UCI faculty, students and staff.
