Theses and Dissertations - How can we help?

Critique Service

It is highly recommended that your thesis or dissertation be critiqued before turning in your final copies to the University Archives.  During the critique process, a Special Collections and Archives staff member will check your thesis or dissertation to see if it meets all the formatting requirements specified in the manual. The librarian will also be able to answer any questions regarding the submission process.

We can remotely review your formatting of the manuscript. Submit a draft of your thesis or dissertation using the Thesis/Dissertation Consultation Request Form. You can also ask any questions regarding the process or any formatting questions.

You may also request an appointment for an in-person critique using the Thesis/Dissertation Consultation Request Form. In most cases a critique takes 10-20 minutes.

The quarterly workshop is conducted twice per quarter, except for summer session.  The workshop explains the requirements for submitting theses and dissertations.
