Southeast Asian Archive Advisory Board
The UCI Libraries established the Southeast Asian Archive Advisory Board in 1993. The Board was created to assist the founding SEAA Research Librarian, Anne Frank, with outreach in the SEAA communities and to provide leadership and advocacy for the burgeoning archive. Today, the SEAAAB includes passionate, motivated members who continue to work as advocates for the archive through outreach efforts in the community. Each member is critical to the success of the SEAA, and the UCI Libraries is grateful for their continued support.
Goals of the SEAA Advisory Board
- Serve as advocates for the SEAA and the UCI Libraries and promote the interests of the SEAA in the community
- Assist in organizing or co-sponsoring events and programs to increase awareness of the SEAA
- Assist in fundraising efforts to help increasethe financial resources for the SEAA
- Assist in identifying potential collections toadd to the SEAA
